GENERAL GYM RULES
BARCODE USAGE
Use your own unique barcode for gym entry on every visit. Do not share your barcode with others.
Access to the gym is monitored by CCTV 24/7 to ensure member safety. Misuse of access may result in additional charges to your membership fees as outlined in the Membership Terms and Conditions.
EQUIPMENT USAGE
If you are unsure how to use any piece of equipment, please seek guidance from one of our Personal Trainers before use.
HYGIENE STANDARDS
Please use the provided paper towels and cleaning products provided to wipe down equipment after use, in addition to utilising the sanitary stations available.
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE
Wear suitable and comfortable exercise clothing and appropriate footwear while exercising.
Prohibited attire includes jeans, boots, flip-flops/sandals, slip-on shoes, workwear, yeezys and football tops deemed inappropriate for the gym.
Members not complying with attire guidelines may be asked to leave the gym premises.
SUBSTANCE USE POLICY
Do not use the gym facilities while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquillisers, or any other substance that may impair your ability to exercise safely.
Muscle Manor reserves the right to remove individuals from the premises if they are deemed unfit to use the facilities due to substance influence.
WEIGHTS POLICY
Return all weights and equipment to their original places after use.
Dropping weights on the floor is strictly prohibited and may result in membership termination.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Obtain permission before taking photographs or videos within the gym premises.
Refrain from posting any remarks or media on the internet that may identify or negatively impact another person without their consent.
BEHAVIOURAL CONDUCT
Members must behave respectfully towards staff and other members.
Aggressive, abusive, antisocial, or threatening behaviour will lead to immediate membership termination, with potential involvement of law enforcement.
PERSONAL TRAINING POLICY
Only Muscle Manor licensed personal trainers are permitted to conduct training sessions within the gym premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by Muscle Manor management.
Non-compliance may result in immediate removal from the gym premises or financial penalties.
BELONGINGS RESPONSIBILITY
Members are solely responsible for the security and safety of their personal belongings while on Muscle Manor premises.
Muscle Manor accepts no liability for any loss or damage to personal property.
LOCKER USAGE
Lockers are for temporary use during training sessions only.
Locks left on overnight will be removed, and items will be placed in lost property.
LOST PROPERTY HANDLING
Lost property will be kept for one week before being donated to charity or disposed of.
Muscle Manor does not accept responsibility for items held in lost property.
CHANGING FACILITIES
Separate-sex communal changing rooms and disabled changing facilities are provided to ensure privacy, safety, and dignity for all members.
CONTACT INFORMATION
Members must promptly update their DOB, contact details, including relevant address email and phone numbers, via the Muscle MANOR app under "My Account."
MEMBER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By accessing the gym and using the facilities, members are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the Membership Terms and Conditions.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY READINESS
If required to discuss exercise intentions with a doctor based on the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire, membership fees remain non-refundable.
SMOKING AND VEHICLE POLICY
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited on all Muscle Manor premises.
Bikes and e-scooters must be parked outside the gym and are the sole responsibility of the owner.
JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW
The English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our premises.
